Incredible day in the dunes!  Hard to believe there can be sooo much sand. 

 

Overall had good day.  A few blisters in the dunes, but compared to most other people I am in great shape as far as blisters go.  Legs are sore and ready for the final ‘sprint’ for beer J 

 

Thank you all for the amazing support on blog and email, it really is very very cool to get some encouragement at the end of the day.

 

Also a massive thank you for your support of stella pre primary..

Finished the incredibly tough and hot long stage at 1am this morning.  Happy for the rest day.  Tomorrow we take on the dunes.  Should be ineresting, then the “sprint” to the finish.

 

All is well, few blisters and the pack is getting lighter each day.

Day3 complete.  Half way now.  Big day tomorrow.  84km,  Almost comrades.

 

Today we spent a long time on the beach.  Lots of seals an birds,  very cool.
