Xing Bo and I just had a conversation though the phone today. We talked about how to pack the bags for Jordan and the food problem I have been through in Iceland. Everything seems just happened yesterday and no matter how much pain we had during the race, we miss those days. Xing Bo told me he wanted to come to Sahara again and I encourage him to do so. I was very lucky to finish the Gobi March and Iceland early in this year, not fast but I survived. Neither of the races were easy for me, mainly because I fear the cold and the wind. Especially in Iceland, which is located nowhere in North Atlantic, the wind was from all of the directions, and never stopped. After Iceland instead of taking a break, I did some serious hiking with my sprained ankle and the sore knee. This even made the situation worse and I had to stop doing any exercise when I got back to Shanghai. But Jordan, well, I'm going there. When I'm picturing myself racing on the course, I can feel the pain and the excitement, maybe cold as well. Said that February in Jordan is still cold and extreme weathers can happen. But I'm confident enough to manage it to the finish line. 94 days to go. I can't wait to see all of the old friends.
