Okay, after you read this, you might think I am going crazy, but I promise I am not. Trust.
So today, OSAAT (team one step at a time) completely rocked it. And we were joined by a fourth member, “priscilla”.
Who is Priscilla you ask? Well, I have named my pain Prsicilla. She likes long conversations, and romantic 9 hour walks on the sand.
Ha but in all seriousness, it’s actually helping. It’s a nice little distraction for sure.
My heels are now completely raw, but that’s okay. One more big day – I got this.
Thanks for all the messages and comments. Know thst im laughing and smiling through this entire thing. One woman said to me today, “ I can’t belive you aer still moving, even more so, I can’t believe that I can hear your laughter every 20mminutes no matter where I am in the desert. It’s actually comforting.”
Sending you all laughter and smiles.
Im going to go and prepare myself to crush it tomorrow.
Cheers and love xoxoComments: Total (3) comments

In Canada, we like to say “Run as though there is a pack of wild wolves chasing you” as a way to motivate us to move faster. In the desert, I’m running as though there is a camel chasing me.
Because there is. J
My feet are completely torn up, but my body feels amazing. Though I can’t move at a fast pace, I am definitely back in high spirits – my usual self.
I have found two companions to make this long trek with, our team is led by a fearless finnish woman (who is injury free and is there for moral support because she is amazing). Our team is called, “OSAAP” meaning “one step at a time.” J we are having a ton of fun, laughing, singing, and skipping through the desert.
We are one step closer to the finish line, and despite how my feet look, I have never felt more alive.

Pour me another cup of struggle, and I’ll drink every last drop.
Lucky for me, I started the race with a head cold. And now, after day 2, have been dubbed “the blister queen”. Yes that’s right, I have accumulated more blisters than anyone else. Why? Not quite sure, but I imagine it’s a combination of wet shoes, sandy terrain, and a 12kg pack (yes, it is too heavy, planning on ditching some extra food this evening).
Though I am trekking along far slower than I had originally planned, there has been some positives.
The scenery is absolutely epic. I have never seen anything like this before.
The people are amazing.
And… I am keeping warm. Which is a huge amazing bonus.
Sending you all well wishes. Taking another big gulp to the end.
