We just finished the long stage last night. It was probably the hardest day of the week, if not my life. Most of the 55 miles was through the mountains that I told you about. Canyon running, 20 miles of steep mountain roads, finally 18 miles of rolling foothills.(did I mention the goat paths?) Check out the Turkish road. I am sure that it is still called that because they were the last ones to use it. (too steep)
I knocked out the last 18 nonstop and felt the best I have felt all week. Tomorrow is the finale into petra with the banquet tomorrow night.
Blink twice and I will be back. Love to all!

Hey everyone, stage four is complete!! Can I get a witness?! So grateful for all of the support!
Today was an an epic day with multiple climbs including dunes. Did not feel that great but my legs are in good shape. My toes are a little swollen so I am stoked on where I am at. A little more stretching, hydration, and I will be ready to rock tomorrow. Passed through two rock arches. Had fun running with brett from ausralia and a few others……..all inspiring!
Special note to home, hope you are having an amazing week. Rest up, I will be home soon. I love you guys so much. Though we are apart you are with me every step of this journey. There is not a single minute that I not thinking about your strength and love. Ok I have to send this before I start crying.
Ok , I am off to work on my feet! See you soon!

Thank to everyone with your kind words and support. I just figured out how to success them through the cybertent. I am truly humbled and appreciative for everyone’s amazing encouragement.
Today was a strong day after taking it a little easier yesterday. We started the first of many dune climbs, bouldered 20 meters, passed a camel racing track, and finished across a dry lake bed.
Except for some minor blisters, I am in great shape for tomorrows run. Wish you guys could see it. Sheer mountains the size of several sears towers!
Thanks guys, you have put a string in my step! I am off to stretch!

HI Guys!
Made it to Jordan everyone. It is spectacular. The ground looks a lot like phx but if you look up you will see some of the coolest mountain you will ever see. Think alexander the great or something biblical. We just finished the second stage and I am feeling prtty good. A couple of blisters but overall pretty good. We had ice cold rains that leaked through the tentsthe last couple of nights but the weather is clearing for another great stage tomorrow. Bedouins help us with the tents every day, I continue to meet dome of the strongest, most gracious people you will meet.
To mom and Brianna, I love and miss you so much. I am giving this event my best but miss you terribly.’
Love
Rob
