Fundraising project- Embark on Antarctica x StarUp Wonders Expedition 01 Sep 2024

Dear RTP community,

It's 11 weeks left till The Last Desert race event. This is getting real. Hope the strength training, run and hike practices from the past eight months would help improve my durability and performance on this race. I can't wait to meet all the racers, friends and RTP staff/crew support.

This time, I'm delighted to share with you a meaningful fundraising project collaborating with a social enterprise called StarUp Wonders in Hong Kong. This organization helped Youth with Intellectual Disability (YID) to build up their confidence and integrity to the society through developing their talents through art and turn their artwork into meaningful products as a source of income.

The past two months, I had participated a joint creation with YID from StarUp Wonders of a customized painting that carries a theme of Antarctica. They go beyond their imagination to draw very cute penguins doing different sports. They have turned this beautiful drawing into a dry-fit towel for sale as donation to keep their social enterprise afloat. This painting showcases their talent to different cultures, and aim to cheer for our international runners along the Antarctica journey.
