Sally describes herself as a nurse/author/mother/grandmother/traveller/inquisitor and lover of life who recently published a memoir and is in the process of writing a sequel. Sally managed a cattle station in the Kimberley region of Australia for twenty years and published a best-selling book titled "Not Just the Wife of the General Manager." She also works part time in drugs and alcohol rehabilitation in Byron Bay, Australia. The Last Desert (Antarctica) 2024 is the second time Sally joins us having previously been a volunteer at the Gobi March (Mongolia) 2019.

Colleen is a former writer for the Australian Financial Review where she was the Washington correspondent in the 1990s, the China correspondent from 2004 to 2011, and editor from 1998 to 2002. She also worked for the Sydney Morning Herald. Colleen now lives in Byron Bay, Australia. Colleen's husband, Stephen, is competing in the Antarctica Ultramarathon.

Australian runner Robyn Harris is a self-employed lymphoedema nurse / soft tissue therapist from Australind in Australia. Robyn loves the outdoors and getting out in nature, and she says that "exercising nourishes my soul. I love hiking and mountain biking, and generally anything that involves moving in the outdoors. I'm a great support crew for events - friends know this well!" Robyn joins us for the Antarctica Ultramarathon.
